BLENHEIM PALACE - East Courtyard Visitor Centre!

A masterwork of Sir John Vanbrugh the Palace is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

To achieve the highest performance VITRAL used their slim framed VRS system with stainless steel frame. High performance solar control glass, superb air tightness and low U-values permitted the designers to extend the scope of the glazing. The result is a stunning space flooded with light which brings the ancient walled rooms to life.

In response to a steady increase in visitor numbers the project provides improved retail and catering facilities at the Palace. Nichols Brown Webber Architects working with Nick Cox Architects were engaged to design this historic addition to an iconic building. Blenheim Estate Contractors Limited led the project team including Blenheim Palace Construction Manager, Clive Wilkins.

VITRAL installer Red Window Systems worked very closely with the design team throughout the project to ensure a successful design translated to success on site. Careful attention to the detailing and interfaces resulted in a fast and hassle free installation.
